It will get worse, with mine after about 2k, it started to become a mixture of what looked like solid milk and oil. It gets gross. I am so glad I put mine on there!!
Make sure you don't have to much slack on the first hose, mine fell down and rubbed up against the belt right there (yes sorry I dont know which belt it is) and made a lovely little hole. Fasten them up!!!!!!

I'm wondering why you guys get so much oil in your cans though...I know we have different motors but the theory is the same. I've yet to clear mine after 2k...granted there's just under a 1/4 of oil, but that won't hurt it.
The reason many SRT-4 owners have OCCs is that the crappy PCV valve does not do an effective job of keeping the oil in the engine....it gets blown by the PCV valve due to the high performance engine and starts to clog up the throttle body and eventually ends up in the intercooler, reducing the effectiveness of it as well and lowering performance.
