Jimmy, this exhuast is for you then lol

I dont wanna sound like a salesman, cuz thats hardly what I am, but its a very very Toned sound. Thats what magnaflow does though. Its a lil bit quieter than stock, but the cracks and garggles are now very muscular and toned, you can still hear them, but its mellow. Also, on the highway doing 70-80, its about 2x quieter than stock. I love it, cuz i have to commute every day to work...

I would keep this exhaust in an instant if i wasnt going 400hp.

3' of pipe is kinda large for a 4cyl IMO. Are you sure it will give you any gains and not accually reduce your hp?

I would consider 2.5' to topps 2 3/4' but then again i havent done any research on how much is too much to open up a small engin.

Im very partial to the stock exaust system. The SRT-4 is tuned very well IMO. I personally wouldnt want anything quieter maby just a tad louder but its not necessary. I love the gurgle / poping you get when comming down from high rpm (my Vette Does the same with the B&B Bullet exaust). Are there any exaust systems that will give a nice bump in HP for the SRT-4?
Ive looked around some but no one gives any HP stats that i can find.

This is how it is...if you plan on staying under 300hp, 2.5 inch is enough. But if you plan on going more than that, (ie big turbo, nitrous etc), then you will want 3".

Put it this way:

If you had 250 hp and a 2.5in exhaust showed 15hp gain, the 3in would show the SAME gain.

But if you had 350hp, the 3in exhaust will show better gains than the 2.5.

That's kind of backwards but we get it

You don't get the Hp without the exhaust first.

The 2.5 borla is good enough for the 365 hp Mopar stage three. Beyond that hp level, you need 3".
