Sterring wheel.

When i turn the wheel the steering coloum makes a squecking noise. Any idea what that might be? I know its not my tires turning.

Theres a TSB on steering column noises, but usually its a clunk, not a squeak.

Yeah mine (2005) makes a cracking sound fairly often when I turn the wheel either direction. Doesn't do all the time though. Haven't had it to the dealer yet, but I'll post the results when I do.

Its a TSB for the column itself. They replaced the steering shaft and clockspring in mine and all is well now.
