Shifter Sticking
She's having a hard time getting into gear... feels like it's having a hard time passing through the neutral gate, usually happens when I'm shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear.
3rd gear is known for having its problems, mine does it from time to time too. I think they all do. But the 05s were notorious for blowing out 3rd gear. Something to do with how one part of the cables is too close to something else, messing up the synchro.
If it REFUSES to go into gear, pops out of gear, grinds while downshifting into the gear, or gets stuck, then you have a problem with the tranny. Happened to my friend's car but that was another story in and of itself.
Try changing out the shifter if you so choose, you'll find the problem is still there. Its something that never really goes away.

If your transmission goes, then yes it would. Its under the 3/36 and the 7/70.
You can ask them to check it out, but they'll probably come back with this:
NPF: Unable to duplicate problem at this time.
And they'll say that because its not a constant issue. Meaning it doesnt do it every single time you engage the 2-3 shift. If it did, then it would easily be spotted and taken care of. Thats been my issue with my car for awhile. The problems I have are so inconsistent that no one can ever catch them, much like when I kept saying my turbo was blown, but the car wouldn't blow oil when I got it to the dealer.
They have minds of their own I tell you.
Oh another dealership favorite of mine:
Can you check the noise my left front suspension is making?
Dealer: Theres no codes, sorry we dont know what to do.
Riiiiiight.
