need help fast
Turn your key to the on and off position fairly quickly (not so far as to start the engine, just to activate the electrical system) 3 times. Then, count the flashes. "flash, flash, pause, flash....would be code 21, etc.
You can call your dealer and they should tell you what they mean, otherwise there are several sites on the internet that list codes....go to the "google" search engine and type in "dodge neon engine codes" or words to that effect...[sm=smiley5.gif]
Actually, I believe that these newer cars actually put up a digital code where the digital odometer is, instead of the "Check Engine" light flashing. You still use the key "ON" "OFF" sequence 3 times leaving it in the "ON" position on the third key "ON", but it gives a letter and number code where the odometer is.
P0633 is referred to as the "Stage code". It is present in ALL stage kit equipped cars except those that bought used kits and had them reflashed at a dealer level. It is not harmful in any way, and has no effect on the operation of your car. If you want more info on it let me know, but only if you want to know more about algorithms and PKI type computer security stuff.
Well, I hope you figured out what is wrong with your car. But, the other day a couple of friends were racing, a wrx vs a corrado with a 1.8 turbo running about 20psi. The carrado was at full boost and all of the sudden there was a pop. Guess what it was? A spark plug blew out. It isn't all that uncommon in alluminum heads with high boost. I hope thats not what happened, but just letting you know. So if you haven't fixed it yet, check the plugs, even though I highly doubt that thats the problem. PEACE
