The SRT-4 handles damn good, but not great.

I think it would be funner to take a modded SRT-4 over there and beat the Skylines with it. Boy wouldn't that **** them off, to be beat by an American "economy car".[sm=smiley36.gif] I really like the Skylines and the Silvias though. They're more into drifting anyway and the Skyline and Silvia is great for that.

Your '98 R/T will hand an SRT-4 it's *** through the corners, my '99 R/T handled the corners a lot better. I could tear through the turns with it.

Get front and rear strut tower braces, they help out quite a bit. If you can afford it get a set over adjustable coil overs. If not, try finding a Neon ACR in the junkyard and take the struts off of it, they are Koni adjustables. And don't forget to grab the adjusting **** for them out of the glove box.

If you can afford it, get a set of BBS LeMans wheels in 17". They were too expensive for me so I was going to get a set of TenzoR Passion 5's in 17"X7". I was going to wrap them in Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3 tires.

The rims are a wee bit expensive no!? 3600 for the first set you reccomended. Maybe the Passions are in my future at only 1000. That's expensive tho! I guess there's not much to be gained, 17"s are 17"s right?

Here's a link to my problem thread with my Neon:

Have a look at it and let me know if you have any advise on what I need to do!

okay this is what u do cause all the "cool" kids around here do this.... buy a crappy crx for a grand then buy a decent honda engine and put it in the crapy shell then use your other 6-7 grand on a really big nos bottle and stickers.... and then ull be cool. and itsnt that what everyone wants... sorry that was terrorable advice.. but really 3 years is a long time for me so id want to have something that u would like a lot and enjoy for those 3 years. if u like the r/t then by all means go ahead and put some money in to that. me personally i couldnt see putting $$ in an r/t but hey. but the main thing im looking at is as long as ull be happy for those 3 years then whats some $$$.
Well, I don't really like the CRX, but I know exactly which kids you are talking about. I prefer my Neon, and I would like them to have a little cry with their mommy who paid for their fast car after they can't keep up and wasted a bottle of NOS. :P

Ahh pipe dreams.

Anyway, the reason I'm looking to do all this is because I'm just about to turn 25, which means my insurance goes down and the cops suddenly think I'm a somewhat responsible driver with no tickets are or accidents on my record.

Depends on who pulls you over and for what reason[sm=smiley36.gif].....we write the most tickets on Tue, Wed and Thurs....[sm=smiley16.gif] The rest of the time we're too busy with the bad guys to really concentrate on traffic....unless you do something dumb or we're doing a mandated "random license check/vehicle safety check/no-fine seat belt usage reminder....it's amazing the stuff you find in the cars that were driving right next to YOU a few moments before....[sm=smiley5.gif]
