RE: Code I don't understand

Your running too much boost, and the engine feels its dangerous, turn it down to 17 spike if your on a stock computer.

RE: Code I don't understand

The car is stock

RE: Code I don't understand

Did you buy it used? There must be some type of boost controlling device in there for it to throw that code.

What does your gauge read when you really jump on it?

RE: Code I don't understand

When i jump on it it goes to 15 then comes down to like 13 or 12

RE: Code I don't understand

Thats weird, you shouldnt be getting an overboost code. 15 is normal for a stock car, anywhere from 11-15 to is normal actually.

Did you buy it used or new?

RE: Code I don't understand

Oh yeah I did buy it with 11,000 miles used.

RE: Code I don't understand

I saw on the post for codes on this website it says 03-04 srt4 does that include the 05 which is the one I have or are the numbers different?

LilSparkPlug Apr 18, 2006 03:14 AM

RE: Code I don't understand

Yes it does include the 05s as well. The OBD codes aren't neccessarily vehicle specific.

So Im assuming you didnt touch anything under the hood, cause this has me confused out the ass right now. The only other thing it could be is cold weather or a small vac leak on the factory WGA line (Black line).
