I dont own a garage or a lift, and was curious about shipping/removing heavy parts.

How does one go about shipping a motor and or a tranny? I have no idea - and want to make sure it is something i can do - i have to make the decision soon whether i am parting out the car.

Anyone know?

pallet or crate and contact a local freight company you have to ship it freight it will be cheaper if you can have the person get it shipped to a business or dock otherwise they charge quite a bit more usually

 

how much for your short throw shifter im real interested

 

so _ i have to get the m out of the car i assume - and put it on a pallet, i guess i could rent a hoist to do that, thanks for the help 05dodgesrt4. It is my car - so I have to see if i can get it to a dock - not sure about that - all so foreign to me this parting out process.
