And it goes on and on!!! HELP ME!!!!
Ok as some of you know i have had boost issues for the last couple of months. What i have done so far...
1.Checked all clamps, tightend, tightend again, dearlship checked them out also.
2.Replace plugs(stock mopar again), msd wires replacement for stock wires.
3.Injector cleaner added to the tank.
Yesterday i was geting so fed up that i took my car down to kinetic motorsports here in langley, kindly and proffesionally they took it in and went at the problems. Hour and half later i get my call....i must say i was looking forward to them finding a whole bunch of stuff so i could finally narrow down everything.
To my surprise though nothing was leaking, Tommy(kinetic fabricator, turbo genius, cool guy) boost leak tested everything and came up with nothing!!!! I was shocked and amazed because what else could be causing me to only hold 10psi!!!! all the time and then drop off really bad towards redline. He did note that when he went for a drive that the boost was everywhere, he said it was like there sometimes and then not there next time. He also checked my compression which came back good...though he said number 4 cylinder was a little low. Plus he said my exhaust it probally causing the problem, it doesnt bend out it goes from a straight pipe and into a dual muffler(it came with the car, magnaflow cat-back i quess). Theres no Y bends or any bends at all so he thinks the flow is messed up. Then he went on to the wastegate probally craping out and then to my needing to replace my fuel pump with a walbro high flow one.
So anyone else have any ideas what else i should check before i upgrade stuff?
Tommy told me if i get the kinetic wastegate and boost controller i will hold 16-17 constant....that would be so nice compared to my annyoing 10 pounds and drop off.

lol, ya that is a option, i worried if i say im only boosting 10 then they will come back with the car only boosts 10 to begin with. Im fustrated but like you said i probally will end up taking it to them again to see if they can solve it.
