Oh and another thing guys and lady. hehe i live in a really small down there is no good shops here,so im going to have to take it to dodge so they can fix it.I dont think i know i cant do it.LOL The oonly things i really have done to my car is oil,the bolts stuff like that.Im sure this is going to be a hard thing.So MY ? is there aftermarket syncro i can buy or does it really matter if i get the stock one again. If its under warranty, take it to the dealer and try it out. Like I said around here the dealers are pretty friendly for the most part. But your way too far from me to head to one of the dealers here.

if they won't warranty it and you have to pay then you're looking at a few hundred dollars at least. probably $500 including labor from the dealer. at that point might as well get a cryoed tranny, all new internals for $800 or so.....that's my plan when this tranny goes on me (which i know it will).

I have seen the metal pipe for the BOV push against the slave cylinder, pushing it back and making the clutch catch too low.....thus causing syncro failure.

Take everything off that you can, put the stock stuff in, and go to the dealer and just play dumb.

" Gee, I love my car and baby it all the time, third gear was fine up until a week ago".

OMFG This so funny.Ok guys i went down to the dealer and told them my issue and you know what they said to me.2,000 to 4,000$ IM like WTF You are kiding me? He is like nope.Im like it poping out of 3rd gear you are going to make me pay that much. He said yea,it might be you gears and alot more things.
what a joke. PSI chick said to have this performance shop work on it.They said 1,000 for a rebuld job.But i have no clue how to take my **** down to send it to them.

 

So you don't have a warranty?? Its just the synchro for 3rd and the stop ring that are bad, the exact same thing happened to my friends car. They just have to take the metal shards out of it, and do a flush/fill and repair whats broken. That price is obnoxiously high, your warranty SHOULD cover it.

Try another dealer before paying anything. Cause thats BS

 

I called to dealer i got the car from in orlando and they told me it should be coverd.Do i am going to bring it in there next week.I hope every thing goes good.Yes the place i went to here dont even sell SRT-4, They think if you install anything on your car it voids the warranty,BS. I always thought you can install a few mods on your car with out messing up anything.And some guys have told me they have to prove that what i installed on my car broke what ever is f up.
