What are you peaking at and what do you hold to redline?

i had the same problem. i have an agp wastegate and turbo xs boost controller. All i did was remove the red intercooler hose and put a cap over it. unplug the battery for 10 minutes start up your can and mine hasnt thrown the code again. my friend had the same problem with his wastegate but were boostn around 18 psi with a little drop to about 16psi.

Yeah you can just remove the tip sensor line (red/white). It takes PCM controlled boost out of the equation. By doing this your running solely off the control on the WGA, not the PCM AND the WGA at the same time.

I have my white/red tip lines removed and capped, my boost is controlled completely by the Greddy EBC. My computer has nothing to do with it.
