Ok this happened two days in a row already, kinda tripping me out. I drive my car in the morning to work, takes me about 30-35 minutes. 25 minutes into my commute I get this burnt smell doesn't go away for about 2-3 minutes then I dont smell it again. Same thing happened yesterday. Any idea what this can be?

 

Everytime I drive through a certain area of 95 around here it smells like burning wires, but its just the area.

What kind of burnt smell?

 

Well it doesn't happen in the afternoon or anything like that, just in the morning and seems to me that in the same place, but for some reason smells like its coming from under my hood, but then I park and walk around my ride and don't smell a thing, maybe its just the area or another smelly car? It smells like burning wires. Thats exactly what it smells like.

 

I have an area around me that smells like that during certain times of day. Sniff around and see if its the area or your car. Probably isnt your car.

 

werid that burnt smell happens to me to. it only happens for like a minute. It only happened in the morning but today was the first time in the evening. werid.

 

Yeah exactly, for like a minute or two then goes away and comes back the next day, I haven't had it anymore, its odd.

 

I must have a 'stinky' area too, for I have caught wiffs of the same smell......... interesting.
