YES!!! Tell him! Imagine how you would feel if something like that happened to you. I would also call the police and report to them a potential hit and run that you saw. She might not have known that she hit it, but still, he should know. If I, even unknowingly, hit someone else's car, I would hope someone would report me, because I would want to make it right.
hey.......im sure he has already reported it as a hit and run.........hes not home yet. if i tell him now.......could i posibly get in trouble for not reporting it this morning??
i dont know which apartment he lives in........ i happen to have a ladie friend of his on my space.....so i emailed him

Similar, but much worse story.
Down at the local hangout here in RI, there was some moron in a GT Stang from the mid-late 90s that wanted to try and do a hole shot out of the parking lot. Well he misjudged the corner, hit the gas a bit too hard, and ended up not only hitting, but demolishing a car. This poor Hyundai wagon was parked face-in to the curb. After he drove by, the car was parallel with the curb with the driver's wheels on TOP of the curb, it was a passenger side hit.
There had to be at least 50 people there. They ALL left. As soon as it happened I ran to get the plate off the black stang that had hit this car. Because if that had happened to my car I would've wanted to know. My closest friends left, and I called the local police.
Brought my car over to the side of the wagon, and shined my HIDS on it so that they could see the amount of damage better than with the light of the street lights.
15 minutes after the cops arrive and Im filling out a statement a 17 year old girl comes out of the store the car was parked at crying hysterically. She had just moved to this country not too long ago, and it was the only car she could afford. Thankfully I stuck around to help the girl out. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I didn't.
Sometimes its just the right thing to do regardless of who you **** off. And it worked in my favor as well, I landed a few friends on the local force that I still have to this day almost a year later.
So tell him, give him all the info you can, because if it was your car, you would want someone to tell you.

I seen a lady do the exact same thing... Except, she backed into a guys motorcycle right next to my truck as I was getting in... I hear **** crunching, and look up and she looks back real quick, then drives off slow like nothing happened. I was like wtf. I didn't have any chance to get her license number, but about a minute later the dude came walking and of course he was like wtf lol, and I let him use my phone and told him what the car looked like and what happened... Then at that moment the lady came back, and got out and tried to DENY SHE DID IT! lol I was like no no no I saw you back right into it then she was like oh well I didn't even realize it. Which is pretty stupid, because why the hell did she come back then!
Anyhow, yes I agree with the others 100%, tell him

Assuming you got a license plate #, just let the owner of the truck know and let him call the police. You can tell him you are willing to give a statement as a witness.
