Default Stage 2 timing

okay guys. i hear a lot of ppl talking about pulling timing on stage 2's
and i am wondering if i am pulling timing. i set my wga at 4mm and boost goes from 19-15 psi in 3rd and 4th. i just raced my frineds wrx with a 16g turbo in it. it has exactly 300 whp. with stage two im guessing i have around 265-275. have maxxfab modi exhaust as well. before my firend got his turbo, he was a stage 2 of some sort with 230 to the wheels. i use to beat him stock except past around 100 mph. and now that i race him he pulls on my like no other. i get a huge jump and then he comes back hard. i cant say yet my car feels like its dying late in power range but could i be pulling timing and boosting too much? i am concerned cuz i dont think that just with around 20-30 whp on me should have him pull htat hard top end. we started from 3rd gear roll around 65 mph. he came back at around 120 pretty hard. and at thearound 140 he was like 2-3 cars ahead of me. ill try to post a vid of it. and then i again i could be too confident in my stage 2 abilites. so some advice would be good

You could get a scan gauge... That would be the no guessing way to find out. I have the Aeroforce and it's great.

stage cars suck from a roll, no way around that. if you wanted a street runner then s1/wga/mbc/fuel would have been a better choice. only thing i can suggest to do is get a good progressive w/i kit which will help, but isn't going to solve the problem.
