I took my car to the dealer because they are fixing my tranny Thnak god.Anyways they called me up on the 3rd day and ask me if that was the stock TURBO.I was like WHAT LOL ummmm yea.They thought that was a bigger turbo LOL.I was like is there going to be a problem with fixing my car.I told them to go out to the lot or get on the computer and look at the damn turbo its stock.There like no no no no we belive you thast what we thought just wanted to make sure it wasnt aftermarket. I just think thats funny,they sell me the car there are going to fix my car and there suppose to know alot about srt-4's and they ask me if that is the stock turbo.God i cant wait to i get my car back.I never relized how much i love my car untill it was away for a while LOL

 

Kinda unsettling when the dealership doesn't appear to be knowledgable when it comes to your SRT4, huh? I went through the same thing.... I missed my car hella, but also just wanted it back because I really didn't have faith in the three different shops it visited....

 

I know,i just wish there was a dealer that i belive in.

 

I got another story about the local dealership that was funny...

Yesterday I got a postcard from the dealership stating that they wanted to buy my car from me! They tried to make it sound like some special where they would give me up to 75% of the MSRP. This was supposedly guaranteed because I have an SRT4. They seem desperate to get our cars... First time ever a dealership has tried to BUY a car from me!... Of course I was like 'Hell no!' and I'm not calling them back as requested.....

 

LOL I would be like hell no too and not call them back.Why did they want are cars back so bad?

 

u know you have a good car when the dealership wants to buy it back from you.

anyhow, i know what you mean about the dealer, im considering taking my srt in to have them check a slight 'tap' in the motor, but last time it had a rough idle / miss... i had to take it back 3 times to get the problem fixed. it turned out to be some bad wiring, although they also replace my plugs and wires (first try) and also the tps they believed to be bad, but this still didnt fix the problem.

 

Dude, it's a scam to get people in the showroom. Trust me.
