Default alternator?

Does anyone know where I can find a high output alternator for theses cars. My stereo setup draws a little to much power, and I would rather get a better alternator than get a bigger capacitor.

there is no high output altinator. most people just switch to one or two yellow tops and that seems to work fine.

I have two alpine amps. One is 50 watts x4 (rms), and the other is 1000watts x1 (rms). Oh and the cap is 10F.

well something is wired wrong or the cap is no good a 10 farad cap is good for anything they recommend 1000watts per 1 farad which you can actually squeeze more out of each so that would be good for 10000watts of power i would make sure everything is hooked up right and have the cap tested like i said they will look like they are functioning and not really be working

a 1 farad cap would be enough for your system

It was a crappy install job from the start so maybe they screwed that up too. How many times have you been back to Tweeter to have them fix it??
