Exactly who? Please, give us a name and DON'T send them a dime!!!!!!!! Look at the dates here.

Stereogod posted this in Dec of last year. It died til....

Turbopowered brought it back on the 8th of this Nov, this year

I didn't notice that either, and immeditely sent off a PM to Stereogod on a nother forum we share where he spends more time.

Here is his response.

"yea I know I think I posted that almost a year ago. Hell I was still in Kuwait when I "got sponsered" already sent the money and got the package. And then realized it was a scam. But I've never used it nor do I plan too. I should have known it was too good to be true. But thanks for thinking of me anyway. I wish you would've sent this to me a year ago Very Happy anyway we got to plan a meet before I move back to PA. I'm still up for the Cptn Billys idea. Let me know Chris"

Trust me, there's one guy in Delaware behind all this crap, RacerX Motorsports, Motorex, and whatever cool sounding name they can come up with. At least 5-6 folks at SRTforums admit they got took, and who knows how many too embarrased to speak up.
One of the oldest, most respected members of the SRTforums, drizze99, actually knows this scuzball, says the guy always has nice cars, wonder why.

See, stickers are cheap, and the %50 is off stuff marked up %75, so you still pay more.

I could be wrong, I've never been sponsored, but I don't think you should have to PAY for the actual contract. The parts in some circumstances where they aren't completely free (partial sponsorship)...yes. But definitely not the contract, in my mind that doesn't make sense. Then again I've been up for near 36 hours not too much makes sense right about now. [&o]

Yep, that's a sure sign of a crook. I won't even consider a credit card offer that is legit if they want money up front like a subscription, I get thousands of free offers every year and I have 5 right now as it is, so I sure as hell won't pay to have one. No way I would pay to get sponsored either, if they want to sponsor me then it won't cost me a dime.
