On a sreious note, I WAS considering maybe a 30-50 shot. Did you use the NOS until boost or during boost? I currently have Stg 2 w/ toys and plan to keep 104 octane in the tank 90% of the time. Would a 30-50 shot be OK?

a 50 shot is nothing for these cars....it will eat it up and ask for more!!! go with something that has a little more kick to it

Unless you build your engin to handle NoS I would not do it.
It is a VERY Quick way to BLOW the **** outa your motor.

just my 2c.

YES! I knew it was only a matter of time for an uninformed person to jump in here and try to say how horrible nitrous is and that a motor must be custom built for it.

best pass of 11.372 @ 127.1 mph, stock axles, stock motor, ran 20-30 bottles through that thing last year with EASE (probably quite a bit more) with no problems.

Nitrous is no more dangerous to your vehicle then turning up the boost or putting a bigger turbo on it. Proper tuning and equipment will prevent damage to the motor (cutout switches, window switches, fuel pressure switches, hell they even make afr switches for these) In a small sense it's great because the cooler intake temps with a proper tune will have less detonation then running higher boost on a small turbo.

and furthermore, nitrous is never cheating, it's just another power adder on a vehicle. Only downside to it is it puts me in a higher class with having two power adders on the vehicle as opposed to one

Did you do all the work yourself? Or did you have someone do it for you? I would be afraid to try Nos in my car b/c I am not sure how to do it and I dont know of anyone who does in my area, but then again, I am new to this.

haha nice jeff.....

nitrous is just fine if you're smart about it. it's the idiots in civics that throw a 150 dry shot on a 1.5 sohc motor with 150k on it that cause all the false beliefs about it.

nobody up until now (AMS has my car for prototype work and building a full raceblock for it) has touched my car but myself. I did all the install and tuning work myself, though I do have about 5-6 years experience on the older 2.0 dohc chryslers and the srt combined already so I have a leg up on most people jumping into it fresh.

how much was that setup in the picture? that looks simply awesome in the picture the way you have it going into the intake manifold.
