Thanks for the offer MoparMan, but Long Beach is quite a ways away, and I kinda need my tail lights.... Yours look pretty good though!
I just wanted to know specifics about the coating process. I know how to remove the assemblies (looks easier than hell). I've heard it can be tricky if your not accustomed to spraying things.
Here is what I have gathered so far:
1. Lightly sand tail light (for better adhesion)
2. Spray about 6? coats of niteshade (taking time in between to let dry/prevent runs)
3. Spray about 6? coats of clearcoat
4. wet sand & wax if you want to
I guess my question would be in how many layers of what & if the wetsand at the end really needs to be done.....
How do you do it MoparMan? Or is it a secret? lol

1. wet sand tails. ( for adhesive )
2. get a couple oz.'s of house ofcolor clear ( works best )
3. put a little bit of black paint in the clear ( house of color if possible )
4. spray on 2 coats at a time to avoid runs...
5. wait 10 mins to let tack up. and reapeat step four.
6. keep coating till you like the color...
7. let dry ( 24 hours )
8. wet sand yet again then buff to high gloss
