Oil Pressure
So the other day I was driven and some guys in a honda thought it would be funny to front on me. Naturally I had to rep, so I stomped it in second and gave them a healthy dose of blow off valve and exhaust notes... About a mile later I noticed my Oil Pressure light was alluminated. Got home and checked for codes. It gave me a P0566? Whichever ojne states Oil Pressure (Which wasn't a big help btw, the light means the same thing). I just did an oil change about 800 miles ago so I jacked up the car and checked everything over (drain plug, filter, etc.). I couldn't find any leaks. I checked the oil level and it seemed slightly low. I added a little over half a quart, reset the PCM, and haven't got any codes/lights since. I beleive I fixed it quite easily and that could be the end of the story, but with the oil change not that long ago and using Amsoil (not supposed to burn at ALL, or so they claim) I was wondering if there was anything else I should double check. Mostly because a problem with Oil Pressure scares the $h1t out of me. All I can think is "If that wasn't it, this is going to cost me!" Any ideas? Or am I just paranoid?[&:]
