I am going to be running 225/50/R15 bfg drag radials at the track now. Give me some input on tire pressure and rpm's to launch at mainly to save my axels.

I was thinking:
16 psi min. tire pressure
~2800 rpms on launch
and 1st gear burnout

 

i see you have a boost controller...

i would adjust your low boost to around 7-11 for your first gear launch to prevent any spinning.. i have 215s on the front and put my low boost down to 7 PSI and i can launch at 4k RPMs with light feathering of the clutch.. set the high boost for your 2nd-5th gear PSI and switch it while you shift

not sure what PSI to run but 17 seems a little low.. i uste to run my firebird at around 26-28 PSI

 

17 is fairly low i would start at around 25 and use that as a starting point
