what do i exactly ask the dealer to do.....do i ask them to reflash my stage 1 ecu to have my vin and car alarm programed in? or do i ask them to re-skim my stage 1 ecu to have my vin and car alarm programmed in?

help....going to get it do soon and want to be exact.

I took my SRt-4 to the dealer with my used stage1 and said please program it for my car. They had a tech who does that. The tech hooked up a dbIII thing-a-ma-bopper. He said it has to be installed to be programmed. So, he took out my stage0 and installed the stage1 for me. $40 bucks later it was working fine. FYI, he had me take the car around the block, then he hooked up the dbIII thing again and checked for error codes. Then he left the window down, armed the car, opened the door and made sure the alarm went off.
