I noticed that it said the stage 2 was not CARB, and i was about to get a stage 2. just wanted to make sure that if i got it i woulnt have a problem, or fail the smog check. anyone in CA that has a stage 2 have any problems w/ that?

 

There's a guy on SRTforums who just reported yesterday that he passed 100% through a ref station. So things look good for S2... Note, this is for S2 without toys, toys PCM set off a trans code or something that may cause you to fail. There is a product on SRTforums you can buy that is suppose to get rid of that.

I would say this is not a gurantee that anyone with S2 will pass in CA. Stage PCM do all set another code, but apparently the ref station didn't see it or care so thats really the only concern. Actual emissions (of course you'll need the stock cat) really wont be any concern.

 

I thought the trans code was in both toys and no toys. i was just planing on removing s2 and the down pipe for smog time and maybe the bov it they get pissy.

 

the trans code is just for toys, they all set off a skim key code or something like that, P0633

 

awesome then one less thing to take off in a few years.
