i am looking at doing my exhaust this friday before i go to the track and was wondering about the size i should go with. I am looking at doing a 3 inch down pipe to a 2.5 all the way back to a single tip is that a good idea or should i do 3 all the way. right now i only have mbc and intake on an o5 srt right now i am trying to fing a used stage 1 pcm but any way what to do about the pipe

 

2 1/2 inches on the pipe should be fine unless you're running more than about 300HP......

unless your going big it doesnt matter to much. i have 3"dp going into mopar/borla 2.5 and its just fine and actually perfer the tone to the 3" around me.

 

i got a 3inch dp into 3inch exhaust and i like it but im planning on goin past 300 hp so yeah... also depends on if u want ur car loud cuz the dp makes it sound louder but i go the thermal r&d so its not as loud
