Default perrin catch can

i've got a perrin catch can now with no oil in it. i've had it for over a year and not a drop. it's in between the crank case breather and the intake. i want to swap it to go between the pcv/throttle body. will the silicone hoses work or will i need something else? i need to fix this then clean my IC to get all the oil out.

this CC doesn't have a breather hole. so that'll be right going from pcv to throttle body? does gravity effect this system in any way? right now it's mounted by my passenger shock tower. no need to move it?

Correct, you should be able to use it since it doesn't have the breather. The setup is actually dependent upon gravity to seperate the oil from the air flow. If you can run all the lines without any kinking you can pretty much put it wherever you want....

One other thing i have found out is that the catch can needs to be pretty strong I had a weapon r can for a week and and blew a welded seam apart on it! I guess there was a little to much boost for it anyway i got it welded back up now hopefully ill have better luck!

Get yourself some 3/8", 50 PSI, fuel/emission hose, SAE 30R7, made by Goodyear. Any auto parts store will have it. It won't collapse under heat stress. Don't forget the hose clamps.
