I finally got my stage 3 installed and have put 200 miles on it just cruising around and even took it on a hour and a half drive with no problems. Now that I found that there were no leaks and everything hooked up right I got into it for the first time. In second it boosted to about twenty maybe a little more (stock boost gauge) and then third it hit the peg and bounced off of it but before the end of third gear the car died like it just cut off, lost all power, and then picked back up again. Is this from spark blowout or something else? Just wanted a few opinions. Thanks in advace for the help.

 

could be spark blow out, could also be bad wires or a bad ground somewhere. what plugs/wires are you running and how old are they? what's the gap?

 

the plugs are ngk iridium the one step colder ones from modernperformance and the plug wires are the msd ones off of modernperformance. They have 6-10 thousand miles on them. Cant remember gap maybe 35. What would be the best gap in your opnion?

 

when i put my turbo on, gt3076, i had mine gapped at 35 then i had spark blow out and had to regap them to 25

 

What exactly are the symptoms of spark blowout? How do you know you are a victim? What are the warning signs to look for?
