Vanity Plates

RE: Vanity Plates
You can only apply for a personalized tag during a certain part of the year, that sucks.[sm=smiley21.gif]Here you can get them whenever you want, but it costs a fortune every year to keep them, luckily enough I don't have to buy tags for the Roadrunner anymore since it now has historical plates.[sm=smiley4.gif]

it took me awhile to look it up, but the experation date for registering for personal plates in texas is only for larger vehicles if I read it right. for vehicles under 1 ton and two other classses of vehicles, you can get them at anytime. It is 18 wheelers/busses/motor homes/etc that ends on march 31...
I am very much considering getting personalized plates, but it is already so hard to come up with the $50 every year for registration on a car, I don't know if I can come up with that other $40.

I have been trying for a while to think of a good vanity plate for my SRT. I like the RICETRY one and might look into that one. Another one that I like, and I got this from another SRT owner's screen name--so it wasn't my idea but kudos to him for coming up with it--SYNO2RC (say no to rice). Also like YELWBLR (yellow blur)

I'm still looking. I had thought of the chemical symbol for mercury (quicksilver), but I figured that's too obscure. Then CKNHAWK for that little bird from the Foghorn Leghorn cartoons, small and way more power than you would think.
Do a net search for that term, you'll see why that one went out, seems its a slang term for a man who likes boys [:'(]
The Cougar will get NSTYCAT, the GLHS is still in need.
