Default Do you have to trim oil line for stg3 install??

I didnt know this and have been driving my car alot since I finished the install. Like Ive said before didnt have instructions and didnt know about this. I thought everything was OK when I bolted it back up. Is this nessesary and if so could someone explain it to me. Thanks.

yes you have to trim it. but honestly you're better off replacing that whole black rubber piece on the back as the hose that they give you is horrible and ends up harder than a 14 year old at a **** convention. you need to make it about a 1/2" shorter than the piece that they give you. don't ask me why they don't just make it the right size....

are you talking about the oil return line the one that is metal that has the two bolts that hook up at the bottom ot the turbo then hooks up to a rubber hose that goes over a nother metal nipple. If so I didnt cut it but slid it farther up on the hose that bolts to the turbo. The hose was still good so would that be ok instead of having to cut it. Thanks again for the help.
