wondering if anyone else has had a problem with their shifter getting sticky when up/down shifting? let a friend drive it & he said to lube but i'm not sure what to use....i don't have an sts or upgraded clutch. damn those student loans! [sm=badbadbad.gif] the car's only got 17k on it!!!

 

Being sticky when you first get in the car in the morning is normal for these cars, since I have installed my Mopar sts and booger bushings it hasn't dont it anymore. Probably just the bushings would take care of the problem.

 

My 2005 SRT-4 at times is real difficult to get into 3rd gear. If I'm not careful I know I'm going to grind 3rd. I plan on taking it back to the dealer as soon as I can. I will probably get the MOPAR short throw shifter and bushing but I read somewhere the stock shift boot won't fit on the new shifter so you have to buy a new boot. Anyone out there know if this is true about the boot not fitting ?
