I just bought and installed the stage 3 coil overs on my car and I need to start this by saying I understand things are going to break when you drive off-road. Does anyone know what the factory rally teams are doing (if anything) to their coilovers (i've heard they use the stage 3's) to make them last? I drove mine on a short very mellow fire road with no jumping, holes, or any big bumps just to see how it would go and I blew out the right front shock. Any help or suggestions would help. Where should I be setting the damping? I abused the crap out of the stock shocks with no problems (except a cracked bumper!). Are they re-valving them? Different spring rates maybe? Any help would be very appreciated. Also, does anyone know if the stage 3's are rebuildable? Thanks!

 

Don't feel bad, I blew out my front right on the road course, and thats with no bumps. But the nice thing is you can get these replaced at no charge.
