Default Complete Borla/MaxxFab Exhaust (pic)

Just recieved it today after 70 days of waiting. [sm=smiley3.gif] The exhaust tip is huge. But, i have a little concern. I read some where since i got a 3" full exhaust, i'll lose the low-end TQ[:'(]. Although, i get it all in the mid-high end (RPM's)[sm=smiley15.gif]

Powerful Impact.... BOOM!!

It all depends on how much HP you're putting out...for anything around 350 HP or more, the 3 inch is better all the way around.

70 days!?! What did they do, ship it by boat?

Yeah it came by boat!!![&:] Its take forever since its being shipped overseas to an military installation.. Sucks, huh! The larger the item, the slower the mail[:-].
Im at 95% complete with all im goin' to do with the engine (FOR NOW). All im missing is the MBC and Motor Mnts, then ill concentrate on suspension.

And yes, im lookin' for a little over 300+ after the FMIC, EXhaust, MBC with 20psi of boost (runnnin on 100 Oct), and dyno'ed out to fine tune the ruff spots...[sm=smiley2.gif][sm=smiley15.gif]

Cool!!! Yeah, shipping large items O/S is a real pain. Too bad you can't buy those over there, but I guess the "demand" wouldn't support anyone stocking them....[&:]

You need not worry about any low end losses, the exhaust you have isn't a full 3" exhaust, it is only 3" just past the cat where it bottle necks down to the 2.5" Mopar/Borla exhaust. And at the end the Mopar/Borla exhaust necks down into 2 2.25" pipes for the dual outlet. Have you tried seeing if someone over here in the states could buy one for you and ship it over to you?

What about the Down-pipe, which is 3" and bottle necks at 2.5"? also, i have the O2 Housing @ 3" top & bottom. thats why i raised an eyebrow concerning the low-end statement...

Any words... thanks

It necks down to the 2.5" size after the catalytic converter, right by/before it joins up to the Mopar/Borla exhaust. It is quite visible in your picture, right after/below the catalytic converter, at the bottom and to the right next to the clamps, you can see the part that necks down to the smaller size.
