hey guys and ladys I need help with something .Ok i was driving lasnight and my busings came off,just one of them.I had to take the **** back out and what not to fix it.I was just wondering why would they come off.It really made me mad,i could not go over 30mph because it was 2nd gear that pop out of.So i could not get it out of 2nd gear.I think it was installed right,sense the guy that help me had it on his car and he never had any problems. If you guys have any thing to say about this plz just let me know.Its really not that big of a deal but i dont want to be driving far away from my house and this happend again.

 

Did you put the clips back in when you installed the shifter itself? A friend of mine had that cause the bushings to loosen/pop-off and he lost 2nd/4th/Reverse.
