Default Used SRT-4 **HELP**

Ill be buying an srt-4 shortly, unfortunately anything and everything within a 100 miles of me is used, im worried about buying one of these that has 20-30000 miles on it not only because of the abuse the car may have gone through but because of the oil/sludge buildup that i know is going to be a problem, seems nobody does their homework on these and runs them hard all those miles with no oil catch. Looking for advice, would it be hard to tear things apart and clean it up ? any advice would be appreciated

I'm lazy and I'd run a "want ad" in the Want It Now section of Ebay before tearing everything apart. It's free and you can specify how far you are willing to travel to get a SRT-4 WITH an OCC...........

Where are you located? Theres a few in New England that are in excellent condition, I know the owners personally, and it wouldn't be too expensive to have it trailered out to wherever you are.

Theres a stock Eblue for sale for 13,900, and another Silver slightly modified for around the same price.

20-30k isn't that bad. I clean my pipes, TB and IC every other oil change with Carb Cleaner AND I still run a catch can. Its very easy to do once you get the hang of it.

Hey LSP, that "slightly" modified one you speak of for around $14,000, what's it got done? I've a friend of mine is selling his S2000 cause he wants something fast. He said he'd buy an SRT for the right price. Guess he got tired of getting SMOKED by me
