OK, I now have in my paws a used Stage 1 ECM for my `05.
Do I put it in then drive to Dodge or ???[:@]???

I see some of you out there have Dealers that don't know what to do.
So I'm asking.............HELP!!!

You'd be best off sending it to Flight Systems. I drove down there (its kinda by my house) and had it done. When I got there I handed my PCM to the guy and I went to pee and when I came out the guy was already done! Those people down there are kickass!!!! You can ship the PCM to them and have them do it. May wanna talk to someone that has sent one in before to get more details.

Don't put the PCM in, then drive to the dealer. The car won't start silly.

Take the PCM and the car with you to the dealer, and ask them if they can flash your SKIM code and your VIN number into it. Only after they do that can you install it and have some fun.

 

Ya, I say go with Flight Systems too. I sent mine to them on Monday and got it back yesterday (Friday). And thats shipping it from Tennessee! Plus it saved me about $50-$75 bucks from a dealer. Flight Systems is quick and cheap.

And what did they charge you for the reflash??
So is it called a PCM or ECM??

Yep, thats it. Be sure to put a piece of paper with all your info. and vin # in with the pcm, and let them know how you want it shipped. It costs $43.46.
