Default trying to build motor

I drive a 2002 Dodge Neon SXT and am looking to turn it into an SRT-4. I have an SRT-4 block, head and turbo. I am trying to find the best parts to build this motor so it is fast and strong. any information will help. Thanks, Rob

Sticking with the SRT-4 Turbo, or planning on eventually going bigger. If you're planning on sticking w/ the SRT-4 Turbo are you planning on running any nitrous, and if so how much?

If you're looking at a bigger turbo, then I'd say go with at least Eagle Rods and Forged Pistons (CP, JE, Weisco). That'll let you run up to the 550-600hp mark reasonably safe, beyond 600whp and it really starts to get expensive, and I'd recommend a fully built Darrell *** Racing bottom end.

I wouldn't push the stock SRT-4 rods & pistons past 450whp.

im buliding my motor right now, and im keeping my stock internals, stock head gasket....750cc high impedance saturated injectors, 255 walbro fuel pump, d-tec fuel controler, tubular race turbo manifold, 66-1 turbonetics turbo, famous quickwhips intercooler, electronic boost controler (undecided), HKS BOV, external wastegate (undecided), ....................and since i have the dredded 03 model, i had to buy my own fricken quafe limited slip diff, which really sucks, but anyway, now i just need to buy my clutch, and my short throw shifter. im keeping my intake stock untill i get some advice about a high flow road racing intake. i have eibach sportline lowering springs... but only untill i get fully adjustable coilovers. 24 psi is the precise estimate for 455 hp on pump gas, but thats only when i feel the need to push the motor.......like when i race against bikes, most of the time on the street i will be running 17 psi, a safe and reliable figure. all this is costing me 6,500$........ i am so friken broke, but thats ok, it will be worth it when it comes out of the shop.
