Default BAD SMELL

My bro's car has a bad smell like a wood burning smell after he turned it off. Also the car at 15lbs is sluggish and wont boost any higher. Was wondering if there is a problem with the ignition? I checked for leaks and all is good. Thanks later

What modifications does he have? If its stock it shouldn't boost any higher than that. But if its modified something may not be hooked up properly. Tell us whats in the car and we can better help you.

I honestly dont see what ignition would have to do with boost though.

the car has stg 1, full exhaust mopar, 3" cai, msd wires and coil, jdm 4" fmic, greddy electronic boost controller, mopar bov, agp wgt, the stock turbo, and a few other adds. The thing is I installed the greddy ebc a few months ago and everything is great, now this. So I'm pretty sure that the ebc isn't the prob. I have the ebc set at the low setting at 14 psi and the high setting at 22lbs. I know that the stock turbo maxes out at 20psi, but those are the settings for the ebc. Hell Who knows well see. Thanks
