Mopar Cold Air Intake
no it should not, i have one and i think it is great. it makes the car sound great. i have had my car in the shop and no problems what so ever. i believe the warranty would void only if the cia was proven to cause a problem.
The only way it will void your warranty is if it is the cause of the problem and would not have failed otherwise. In this case it's the CAI and if it were to ingest water then it is the cause of the failure, so your screwed in this case, as it would not have ingested water with the stock set up. If the engine spins a rod bearing then it's not the cause of the failure and is covered by your warranty.
No BOV will give you 8-10 more horsepower. It may lower intake temperatures ever so slightly resulting in around a 1/2 horsepower gain at most, but nothing noticeable or measureable.

an intake dosen't give you much hp if any on these cars. unless you're getting it for appearance purposes or to free up some room in the engine bay save your money and get something more beneficial. the mopar cai is WAY overpriced too.....
