You must deal strictly with the service manager, because the mechanics are going to blow you off and they don't want to do any work or spend any more time then necessary on your car. Why? Because it is warranty work and doesn't pay anything near what a non-warranty repair does. If you have ever noticed, they will be more than happy to spend 300+ hours putting a new lightbulb in if it isn't a warranty issue, but a warranty head replacement only takes an hour or two.
Very good point, RR, I usually did in the past. I should have known better after working for BMW and Nissan dealerships and vowing never to set foot in another Honda service bay again(bad bad experience). I seem to have forgotten this after having a used car for a few years. Duh on me.[8D]

well - it's tuesday and I went back to the dealer and - the manager was on vacation this week!(funny when she made a personal appt to see me today.[:'(]) I Had them change the oil while it was there and that is all that happened......When I told them about the brake issues they said don't drive your car hard. When I first inspected the fluid with them the mechanic said that the fluid dark because of a few times heating it up. Then the same mechanic said later that it is clear! It only looks dark because there is some kind of sediment in it. The rest was dissmissed.
Sediment in brake fluid is fine is fine??????? and why was it dark on first inspection and clear with sediment on second - sounds to me like a mechanic not wanting to bleed lines.
Tell me - do you think I should try another dealer? I went to Cherry Hill, NJ(where I bought the car) but live in phila, PA.
Oh I forgot to mention the mechanic's brake fluid testing method. When I debated the fact that the fluid was discolored(I swear It's almost black now) he stuck his finger in the brake fluid resevoir and pulled it out to show me that when he dropped a drop on his hand it was pretty clear.
I felt like - Get your dirty little hand out of my tank.
