Yup, they work on some cars, but you have to remember everything that is driven by the slower speed of the pulley will be working at a slower speed/rate.....that is where your engine picks up the extra HP, in some cases......you're robbing Peter to pay Paul......
what are you guys talking about?!? the under drive pulley only runs the accessories(AC, power steering pump, and the altenator) so how do you figure that has anything to do with the oiling system. the reason i ask is cuz i just got the mpx under drive pulley and after reading these replies i contacted tech line at modern performance and he told me the same thing. THE PULLEY HASNT NOTHING TO DO WITH OILING SYSTEM!!! as a matter-o-fact he said has sold thousands of them and NEVER heard a single complaint. let me know.
