the water leak happened to me during a very heavy louisiana rain. i was sitting in my car, in the parking lot at the mall. when i started my car and drove, the water started coming down on my plastic floor mat. i would say it was just from the strong flow of water, but it has never happened again, nor have i been in any rain storms like that.

Now my idle has become erratic and is effected by the vehicle speed sensor.

 

irradic idle, revs up on its own, etc? perhaps its the throttle positioning sensor. or could just be some bad wiring as was my case.

 

I still have not firgured out what causes this water leak. Anyone else? It looks like it flows out the fresh air intake that has some sort of fan in it. It will only leak if i make a left turn... So maybe it could be the sun roof drain? Its just a real annoyance dealing with this leak... Anyone find any new information on what to fix? where does it even leak from. I looked up the fresh air intake, but i could not see any area of where the water would come from.

 

my car holds water in the plastic vent at the base of the windshield on the passenger side after i wash it or it rains real hard. when i go to back out it leaks in through a vent or something under the dash into my passenger, cloth floorboard, which inturn gets my back floorboard wet and drives me crazy. also my rear driver door holds water after it rains...my car is leaky!!!!! [:@] i know how you feel when you say its an annoyance! please if you can find any info on this let me know as well or if its in the same spot let me know so we can troublehoot this one together !!

 

If you do a search, you will see that I along with others have had the same problem. Mine was covered under warranty, it was a kinked air conditioning drain tube. That is probably the same as what happened to yours.
