out of fuel
my 03 srt4 topped out at 396 ponys before it was leaning out. my shop says i need a fuel return line, i have a boomba fuel rail 750cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, what the hell!!! i know its 300$ for a return line, but the install is so costly, i just dont have the cash. my goal was to make 425 to the wheels, i dont want to settle for 385 (because 396 is lean, and i wont risk running on the edge of lean) what can i do to increase fuel pressure besides a return line, anyone? thanx
Is really a lack of pressure or flow that is the problem?
I was going to suggest maybe another fuel pump added inline but I don't know that that would be a good fix for your problem if you have a restriction upstream or down stream of the pumps and I don't know how much cheaper it would be. Maybe you also need larger fuel lines.

Please, do not look for the cheapest way to increase your horsepower. Do it right, do it safe. Invest in a Fuel return set up. It will save you big headaches in the long run.
And btw, what are you using to control fuel?

im running a D-TEC fuel controler (gameboy advance bull****), im not into the cheap mods, but i just dont want to drill into my fuel tank, the shop says its the only thing i can do. if i put another fuel pump inline, than that will increase the pressure too much without being able to control it. a return line allows you to have unlimited flow, and the injectors will take as much as they need, not giving you too much pressure, but i know alot of big turbo hondas that dont need it, and my freind has an is300 with large turbo, and he is using stock fuel rail and no return line.

I respect that you have a 507hp SRT-4 but I'm gonna have to disagree with you. A Fuel return line is DEFINITE plus to get. Would you care to argue why it is a completely false statement?
