Default battery problems

Ok so there I was going to work this morning and the car cranked fine. So I got back in my car went to crank it and it was dead. All that it would do is tick tick tick tick real fast. What can this be? There is water in the battery, I dont think it would be bad yet, do you???

alternater problems perhaps? how long of a drive was it and did you notice any kind of 'power' loss? it sounds like it could be some kind of an alternater issue

I've have OEM new car batteries go dead on me in 2 years. I've also had some last for almost 5 years. Water in the battery is no indication of it's ability to hold a charge though.

NO there isnt a lack of power from what I can tell. I called the Dodge place here and they said that they think it is the battery. So we will see what they say.

I had my battery replaced after 500 miles.I went to the movies drove fine no problems at all.Well after the movie, walked out to the car and tried to use the fob and nothing. So i unlock my door manually and the dome light looked really dim so i tried to start it and NADA!So i did the lil key code test to see if there was any codes and the odometer read CHECK FUSE.I dont know, i was able to get it jumpstarted and brought it right to dodge. They said the battery shorted itself out, however that happens, but they fixed it for free...Did your dash have any warning lights or codes?Im kind of curious if that lil battery blanket they have on the 03-04's have anything to do with it.
