Default Possible frame damage?

Alright, I tried installing my front strut bar yesterday, lined up the passenger side bracket, no problem slid right in, tried lining up the driver side bracket... The holes don't line up... all but 1 on the strut bolts lined up with the bracket, keep in mind I was in an accident not to long ago and that was the side that was hit, no matter what I did it wouldn't line up... can this be possible frame damage? Strut damage that wasn't taken care of? What can it be?

possibly izzy... working in the car biz, ive seen it before. for example.. get a paperclip and straighten it out, then try to put it back the way it was. it's impossible. but i hope not.. you know i'd hate to see you have to give me your strut bar

What exactly was hit? Do you have pictures or an estimate handy?

Take into consideration that theres no exact specification on a frame, only tolerances. Even from the factory they aren't perfect.

Hey Izzy, when I put my bars on front and back I had to open up the holes and file the mounting plates on the strut bars. Then I got them to fit.
