OMG this event was awesome. Lets see, we had nitrous explosions, almost a big pile up during the ten mile run, couple cars spin out taking out timing boxes going off into the grass. 7.50 runs on street radial tires at about 135 in the 1000ft. Almost all of the hot street, real street and pro street cars were low in the 5's in the 1/8 at about 130-140, not to mention teh outlaws who runnin 5.0's and 4.50 at about 150 in the 1/8. But what impressed me the most was the amount of actual fast imports that were there, usually on sat. nights we get the "ricers" and occasional fast ones. We had a 600awhp Evo VIII who's best time was a 9.14 i believe in the 1000ft, a 500awhp sti who was running low 10s but he said that was the first time he has ever raced it at the track before. A lexus es 300 i believe with a turbo surpa motor who was running high 9's, a turbo surpa running 10.50s and a turbo crx running low 9s. All of those were in teh super import class. There was also a 1g neon NA running 11.28, that was insane, he has a srt4 also, but his 1g neon whoops its **** lolz. I only got to watch until the second round cut it was already 11.15pm. Winniep won the Mod. import class, with a 10.66 run lolz that was awesome. Sorry i kept rambling but im still pumped lolz.

Ya, I have pics, but they aren't worth posting (my wife, I have just found out, SUCKS with a camera when it comes to fast cars.) I can't believe I ran a best time of 10.66 @ 103mph on 5500 mile street tires! all I did was drop the pressure to about 26 psi in the front. As of now, I am the modified import state champ! My car was running like a beast all night! Gots me a little cash and a fancy trophy and most of all, bragging rights! It was an awesome night! I tried and tried to get blue_srt to run, but his tires were bald as could be.

 

Awesome dude!! Congrats on the big win. Sorry to hear about not running to hot Blue, but youll get 'em. I know I had a hell of a bad night a few weeks back, got beat by a CRX with a 150 shot of NOS and everything stipped out of, and I am stock. Oh well, cant win them all.

By the way, winniep, what are your mods?

 

yea i wanted to run, but having a blowout on the track would be pretty embarrassing lolz. i think maybe i would have came in second if i would have ran, that turbo probe was hella slow lolz.
