Default trunk damaged by spoiler

i know its come up before... but help me out here

i went into the stealership to get it fixed. the spoiler put nice round scratchmarks that fit the base of the spoiler like a glove in my paint (we are talking down to the metal) its been a week and they havent decided on whether they can fix it. also, the paint is very rough and such in that area. i know that someone on here has had this problem fixed at the dealer's expense. can someone give me some info on how to 'pursuade' them to fix it. if i have to pay for it im just going to get myself a rotary buffer, some PS2 silver paint and some 1500/2000 grit sandpaper and go to work. (figure the 300 for the buffer and misc crap will pay for itself over time)

^and yes, i know what im doing with the equipment, so i know its not going to be hard nor too time consuming for them to fix either... but its the point that THEY should fix it, not ME!

You can do like I did on my cracked headlights and search the "OTHER" srt-4 forum.....on body work items like I had, they posted a TON of pics that convinced the dealership to honor the warranty.........

If you're under the 3/36,000 warranty, they have to repair it under that. That shouldn't have happened. I've taken my wing off before, and outside of a few marks from the gasket, I've never had any other problems.
