cooldown
id post this on the sxt site but i dowt they have this prob. im completely built up from the ground up with a 20g turbo. my problom is that every line around the turbo either gets hot and brittle or just flat out catches on fire there not even touching the turbo. i have the coolent running to my turbo but its still to hot for them. has enybody had this prob and what did you do to fix it.
In the Summit Racing catalog/website you can find some heat shielding material for wires, hoses, turbos etc. I used some of that on my original plug wires until I replaced them with MSDs.

This is my 3rd turbocharged car and I've never had any such issues, but then again they were all factory turbo cars so.... Do like Dusty said and get the heat shield tubing and wraps for the lines and wiring around the turbo, DEi makes all kinds of this stuff. Here's a link to them: http://www.designengineering.com/
you might want to also look at some turbo blankets. i know summit racing has them for about 50-60 bucks. it just wraps around the turbo and keeps the heat where it's supposed to be. it will also lower your under hood temp too.
