Default plugs

I shop at www.modernperformance.com and I bought some NGK Iridium plugs the colder heat range which I think was a mistake because I have a stock turbo. it caused my engine to sputter at low rpm's. I switched back to the champions and all was ok. do you gap the NGK plugs to .050 or .035 - .038?
I'm shure you have a bigger turbo w/more boost. what should i gap at? also I just replaced a crank case vent hose that was running to my catch can and that may have fixed my miss problem. I am going to try to get it to act up for the next two days. Thanks again for all the help.

Took my car to the dealership and they replaced the coil pack under warranty. they said it was weak and causing a missfire on #1. Has any one tried a Granitelly coil pack or are they as bad as the MSD. Thanks to all that helped.
