Default boost gauge

k got a question i have 04 srt with stage 1, a mopar cold air and the mopar bov ever since i got the car iv never gotten over 10 boost im wondering what i should be getting i have no vacum leaks ive checked all that . i think my gauge is screwed its still the stock boost gauge and the reason i think its the gauge is because when car is off gauge is still readin 10 vacume . so am i right in thinking its the gauge because i thought they went to zero when car was off anyways if someone could let me know where gauge is supposed to sit when car is off that would be great.

You're right, it IS supposed to sit at "zero" when the car is off. There have been several people on here with the same problem, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger........

It means you have no way of knowing what your boost may be. If the gauge is bad it certainly isn't calibrated bad. Just replace it, it's an easy job.
