first, get car... learn to drive car... enjoy car...

second, oil catch can (many other threads have great info. on this, search for them!)

third, blow off valve (I like my Mopar, others have different opinions)

fourth, exhaust and short-throw-shifter...

fifth, K&N cold air intake

sixth, go with a stage 2 if you want the serious performance and skip stage 1... but if money is a factor, stage 1 I hear is all right (right Dusty?)

Are you saying I'm cheap???? (joking)

BTW, I am, out of necessity!

That's a good list of mods and yes, the Stage 1 is worth it for about the same price as the Mopar/Borla exhaust. It gives a bigger "kick in the pants" than the exhaust alone and your SRT-4 will make sounds you didn't know a car could make. Sounds like a friggin' jet almost.....!!![sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

I think easy comes to mind Dusty....j/k

I agree with SRT_YA, learn about the car first. then read the reviews of what mods people are installing on their cars.

Dusty is right, a MUST HAVE, is the oil catch can, doesn't matter what the price is... Get One, make one before you do anything.

The mods depends on your $$$. STS and BOV aren't speed mods, just nice things to have. but if you dont have a list here is one.

1. Oil Catch Can
2. BOV
3. STS
4. Strut bars
5. Filled motor mounts
6. CAI ( don't do the hood mod )
7. Stage 1 ( if straped for cash)
8. AGP W/G & Boost controller
9. FULL Turbo back exhaust. ( Whish I did this and not just a CATback)
10. Lowering spring or Coil overs
11. Bigger FMIC
12. Stage 2 or 3

Just an fyi....a setup of 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,9,10 & 11 is just as fast as my Stage 2 with toys with Catback with stock airbox.

Here is my advice on mods, what to get and when:

1. Campbell Hausfeld MP5138 oil catch can $20+/-
2. MSD Super Conductor plug wires $40 (or other high quality wires)
3. Prothane motor mount inserts $24 (or Energy Suspensions $29)
4. Mopar Performance BOV $70
5. K & N Typhoon CAI $200 (or other CAI and not short ram)
6. Mopar/Borla cat-back exhaust $335 (or 3" turbo back SS exhaust if you can afford it)
7. Mopar Performance short throw shifter w/booger bushings $120
8. MPx front strut tower brace $40
9. DC CS-2 rear strut tower brace $84
10. Mopar Performance Stage 2 w/toys $1,390 (or Stage 2 by itself $860 or at least Stage 1 $325)
11. larger O2 housing and down pipe w/high flow cat
12. ATP pressure pipe $140 (or any good pressure pipe or hard pipe kit)
13. and last but not least, something that the SRT-4's should have came from the factory with but didn't: oil pressure and volt gauges (I highly recommend the electric 2 1/16" Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra Lite oil pressure gauge $50 and Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra Lite volt gauge $40 with a dual gauge pod pillar) These are very important things to monitor and I am disappointed that they leave these to idiot lights.

The first two are the most important to start off with. After that it is just a recommended order in which to mod your SRT-4.
