ok i got a question. how strong do you think this motor is? i have so many plans for my car and tons of upgrades i want. i want serious power and want to be able to hold boost levels of at least 20 more would be nice. but anyways how well do you think the internals on this motor are? should i bore it out? oversized pistons? new rods and crank? etc.. or will the motor hold up pretty good with some serious mods done?

 

the motor is fine. it can hold a good 450hp all day long. and running 20psi is fine depending on the turbo. if you're trying to run 20psi on a T88 you might have some problems, but on most turbos it can take it just fine lol.

as for the head, it's never a bad idea to throw a race head on, it can only help things. i've got a DCR race head w/oversized vavles, springs, retainers, and a pnp job. it really helps out with spool time i've found.
